About Us

We’re baking and cooking enthusiasts who enjoy finding and sharing good recipes. We’re mothers of beautiful little boys who have changed our lives in amazing, unforeseen ways.  Trips to the zoo, the children’s room at our local libraries, and area playgrounds have become a regular part of our lives.  We’re home brewers, gardeners, quilters, musicians and German board game players.

Domestic Pursuits was founded in November of 2008 to share our love of cooking, baking, crafting and all things domestic.  We’re now adding kids to the mix!  Look for posts about crafts and activities that we do throughout the week with our little ones, as well as favorite books from our home and local libraries.
